So, I wouldn’t necessarily consider myself a “Yogi” ….at all. My mother however, does yoga quite a bit and although I’m familiar with it, I don’t really practice it much. Recently though, I’ve been needing some way to channel and renew my energy and I think a few days in Tahoe at the Wanderlust Festival is definitely going to provide that and more.

Music, Yoga and Nature are the components of Wanderlust and I cannot wait! Since I started working form home, I noticed how much I truly need the sun! Being outdoors just makes me feel better and sometimes I’ll go work outside in the shade just for a nice scenery change. Being outdoors, hiking, doing yoga and listening to inspirational talks is going to be wonderful, and in the evenings there are musical performances including Ziggy Marley! (sooo stoked!)

[box] Wanderlust is a one-of-a-kind festival bringing together the world’s leading yoga teachers, top musical acts and DJs, renowned speakers, top chefs and winemakers, and much, much more — all in a setting of breathtaking natural beauty. We’re talking about fun in the sun and dancing under the stars. Hiking on peaceful trails and gettin’ your down dog on at the top of the mountain. Sipping poolside cocktails with your friends, and then enjoying a tasty farm-to-table dinner with views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Early morning meditations and all-night chakra spinning musical performances — it’s an all-out ecstatic celebration in the most awe-inspiring locations in the world.[/box]

I will absolutely been taking tons of pictures at Wanderlust and I am so grateful to Toyota for sending me! I look forward to soaking in all the beautiful scenery and wearing my yoga pants while actually  doing some yoga! ;)

Have you ever heard of or been to the Wanderlust Festival? Are you a yoga-lover? If so, any tips?
